Members of the public
wishing to contribute to the construction of the
Argyle International Airport can now do so through
a contributory fund set up at the National
Commercial Bank.The fund called the Argyle International
Airport Contributory Fund was launched in SVG on
Wednesday July 8th, 2009 at the NIS conference
room. It is being managed by a board of trustees
in the persons of His Excellency the Governor
General Sir Frederick Ballantyne, Mr. Christian
Martin CMG, Mr. Sid Hazel and the Hon. Brian
Alexander.

The idea to set up the
fund came about from numerous queries by
Vincentians at home and abroad as to how they can
become personally involved in the construction of
the airport which they see as necessary for the
continued development of the country.All Persons contributing to the fund would
be given a certificate of recognition, while those
contributing one thousand dollars or more would be
given a tax exemption.

Persons in the Diaspora
who wish to contribute to fund can do so directly
through the National Commercial Bank, Bedford
Street, Kingstown. Account number 200884. Or they
may send it in care of the:

Persons sending cheques or
Money Orders must make them payable to the Argyle
International Airport Contributory Fund. They must
also send them their names and addresses so that
they can be properly recognized for their
contributions.
